Height Divisions for Novice and Open Classes



Women:

Short: up to and including 1.65m

Tall: Over 1.65m

Men

Short: Up to and including 1.75m

Tall: Over 1.75m


Qualifications for Novice and Open status

Novice: A contestant who has not placed First in any Regional competition or placed in the top three in a National competitionin any organisation

Open: A contestant is considered an Open competitor if they have won a Regional contest with a minimum of three contestants in their Class of competition or if they have placed in the top three in any National competition organised by any organisation.


Age Divisions

​Teenage - under 19 years of age on 1st January of the year of Competition.

Junior - Under 23 years of age on 1st January of the year of Competition

Masters Men or Senior Women 40 Plus - Over 40 years of age on the day of competition.

Grand Masters Men or Senior Women 50 Plus - Over 50 years of age on the day of competition.

Ultra Grand Masters - Over 60 years of age on the day of competition.

Veteran Grand Masters - Over 70 years of age on the day of competition.

Note: Contestants may only enter the division which relates to their actual age. ie:a contestant who qualifies for the Grand Masters must compete in that division and not elect to compete in the Masters 40 Plus despite being over 40 years of age.

Age related contestants are eligible to compete in non age related divisions such as "Novice" or "Open" as long as they qualify for these divisions non regarding their age..

Contestants who have competed in competitions run by other organisations must take any placings they have into consideration of their status.
